The Name Now that's a sustainable idea: BLAUSTUDIO!

Within BLAUSTUDIO we think further than only green. This is the idea of the name. The work is based on a holistic view catching the complexity nowadays planning tasks.

It includes ecology but looks at more aspects of sustainability, the whole life cycle of a building, the economic side and social criteria such as comfort or health. That is what BLAUSTUDIO stands for!

BLAU also stands in contrast to the expression “Greenwashing” – e.g. the representation of a pretendet “green” building or idea with visible effects such as a photovoltaic plant, but neglecting holistic and sustainable thinking, planning and operation.

BLAU stands for profundity, stability and robustness = sustainability.

Especially the early concept finding and design process needs the debate with sustainable and energy efficient design strategies to unfold the full potential of the architectural and urban design language.

Designing sustainability is one of the key disciplines of the BLAUSTUDIO, especially if we have a look at the raising cost pressure for owners, planners and operators.
