Hanover was the place to be for over 400 architects and urban planners to discuss about “Future Planning” at the German Architects Day held every four years only.
Heide Schuster talks about the energy transition at the German Architects Day 2015
Within this years Architects Day at 11. and 12. October in Hanover, amongst others, the topics of climate change, energy, demographic change and mobility have been discussed. Main topic was the question of refugees in Germany and the necessity to build affordable housing in a very short time. The clear statement at the Architects Day: This enormous effort can only be taken including the architects knowledge to avoid social problems coming with cheap mass accomodation.
